Mao: Excuse me, this is Trickstar’s Mao Isara! Sorry to intrude!
Ritsu~! Oh my god, are you okay?! I heard that you suddenly collapsed from, uh, um, Tsukinaga-senpai!
What happened? Were you feeling sick after all?
I mean, you’ve been waking up in the middle of the day lately, right? Or maybe it’s my fault again? Wait, is that being too full of myself?
I’m really sorry…! (falls into dogeza) [1]
Forgive me! I’m so sorry, it’s all my fault! There’s been a lot going on lately, like with Makoto and stuff, so I haven’t really had the time, you see -- but even then, that’s no excuse!
I didn’t look out for you like I should’ve! And then I was terrible to you and hurt you again!
It’s just, you know, sure we fight sometimes but we always make up somehow in the end!
But this time I let my guard down completely! No, I’d just put you aside! Even though I knew that kinda thing hurts you the most!
I really am sorry! Come on now, blame me all you want! Just like you always do! You can even hit me, if that’ll make you feel better…!

Mao: Ah, you finally said something! Thank goodness, I thought you were ignoring me.♪
Ritsu: Who said you could raise your head…?!
Mao: Gyaah?! Whoa, hey! Stop, quit flinging medical equipment around!
Whoa, whoa, that’s dangerous! If those medicine bottles hit me in the wrong place, I’ll die, you know?!
Ritsu: Hmph. Before that could happen, I’d bite you, make you my underling, and grant you the gift of immortality.
Mao: Come on, you’re still spouting edgy nonsense like that…?
Ritsu: ……
Mao: ...Ricchan. Look, you don’t have to forgive me, but at least let me worry about you.
We’ve been friends since we were little… no, we’re like family now, right?
Ritsu: ...We’re not “like” family.
Mao: Ah, right. I guess saying we’re family is going too far… I mean in the end we’re just complete strangers with no blood relation, and I know I shouldn’t interfere with you too much…

Ma~kun, while I can’t say you had nothing to do with it, that’s not the only reason. So you don’t have to apologize.
I just had a dream for a moment, probably just like how “Oniichan” did long ago. You see, just like everyone else, like every other person, I also want to…
...No, never mind. Anyway, it’s not something you need to worry about, Ma~kun. It’s not just because of you that I collapsed.
It’s a little sad to say, but Ma~kun, both you and I have found other people just as special to us as each other… or even moreso.
We’ve put down our elementary school backpacks, and have grown up just a little…
It’s something that happens to everyone, and isn’t anything to be sad about. In fact, you should even be happy, Ma~kun… even I’ve grown up.
I’ve started maturing and becoming an adult, just like any other human out there.
That’s all… so that’s why you shouldn’t be spending all your time only on me.

Ritsu: Alright. If it all works out, we’ll see each other later even if we don’t want to… on the stage of Halloween Party.

[1] This is dogeza. It's considered the most serious form of apology in Japan since it means the person in dogeza is trying to make themselves seem as low as possible in deference to the person they are apologizing to.
