Location: Cafe

Rinne: Hey Niki, they just brought over the food I ordered for ya! Cheer up, alright?

Niki: Oh! Love you bunches, Rinne-kun! I'm gonna dig in~☆

HiMERU: —You are so simple-minded at times, Shiina. HiMERU does worry.

Niki: I don't care as long as I can eat!

Whooooa, not only does this chain cafe have lots of tea and sweets to choose from, it's got all kinds of food food, too!

Tsukasa: Shiina-senpai, was it? I believe your order was, you are forbidden from consuming, er, whatchamacallit.

Ritsu: Hahaha. "Whatchamacallit."

Tsukasa: I-I don't have any other way to say it!

We have a duty to keep our orders secret; if we speak of our orders ourselves or someone else points them out, we could be fined!

As Crazy:B has formed an alliance with Knights, should we not avoid any actions that may inconvenience our allies?

That's true, but the rules are already getting kind of vague... It's starting to feel like they're just there for show.

Tsukasa: Even so, we must always follow the rules.

HiMERU: —You're quite the earnest one. HiMERU doesn't dislike honest types like you.

Rinne: Then I'll leave the reporting to you, Meru-Meru, since you love Knights so much!

I got my hands full piggin' out on takoyaki and okonomiyaki in front of poor Niki's face! Gyahahaha! ☆

Niki: You're so evil it makes me sick to the stomach...!

Ritsu: (Mm... What was that Shiina guy's order again? He can't eat anything with flour in it?)

(Poor thing. He came all this way to Osaka, and he can't eat takoyaki or all that good stuff.)

(We ES idols have all been given "orders"—a sort of gimmick from the administration committee.)

(If we violate the orders, we lose money, basically.)

(And to pass the qualifying rounds of SS, the biggest event in the idol industry right now, you have to earn a currency called SSL$.)

(Losing money means you're taken further away from victory.)

(Idols who don't care that much about victory—or SS in general—probably just see orders as some silly gimmick.)

(But Knights always fight to win.)

(That's how we got our fame and our position as one of ES' Big 3. Not even UNDEAD—not even Anija—managed to claim this honor.)

(I don't know how Secchan or Tsukipi~ or everyone else feels about it, but to me, this isn't something I can so easily give up.)

...Alright, let's hear your report.

The prelims here are barely functioning as a game right now. If things go on like this, then the whole Kansai region could get disqualified.

We need to act before that happens.

HiMERU: —Agreed. We can't expect much from the administration either, to be honest. They are no doubt aware of the current situation in Kansai...

...Yet they have not made any moves to rectify it.

Tsukasa: Right. This is why I hope to solve it with our own efforts and turn that into results.

I assume the committee also finds the current mess in the Kansai region concerning.

If we assuage their worries, we may even receive a special reward for our services to ES.

Just as Switch, from our very own agency, has managed to move on to the SS finals as a special exception.

Arashi: Ah, you're talking about SHINSEKAI, aren't you? That was some fascinating stuff. How did they manage that? They just seemed to pop out of nowhere!

Tsukasa: I was quite surprised myself.

I was always under the impression that we were the ones carrying most of the weight in our agency, but Switch was sneakily—no, tirelessly toiling away behind the scenes.

Ritsu: To be honest, it's a good thing we're allies with Aoba Onii-chan and the others in Switch. It's thanks to them that the administration committee trusts NewDi so much.

The easiest and most surefire way to win a game is to buy out the judges.

Of course, we're not doing anything that sneaky. It's just turning out that way for us.

God is not impartial. He favors His most devout followers when leading souls to heaven.

This time around, we NewDi idols have consistently behaved in the way the administration wants us to.

Back when Yumenosaki was our main base, we could always believe hard work would be repaid... but that's no longer the case. And the airheads who don't catch on will start falling behind, one by one.

The stage we now stand on is no longer a school. We won't get praised just for working hard.

We're in the greater society now, and society only cares about results.

As long as we don't get that mixed up, we'll find victory out here, too. We've won so far, and we'll keep winning.

And as long as we keep winning, that will contribute to Knights' value.

Having value means people will want us. In this capitalist society, we'll be able to meet demand with supply.

...Piece of cake, right? ♪
