(A few days later)
Ritsu: Heeeey, Anzu~? What’s up?♪
Oh yeah, good morning. You’re always so early, Anzu. You’re the first one here.
Fufu. Right? I’ve been doing stuff super early. Tell me I did a good job~♪
Yep. Ma~kun deserves the praise… I’ve been having Ma~kun wake me up, especially when I first started.
I guess if anyone would figure that out, it’d be you, Anzu~
I can’t afford to be late, after all. I’m bad with mornings, but~ I’m still waking up even if I’m being forced to. But you wake up by yourself, right? That’s a good girl.
Ahaha. I see~ You have lots of alarm clocks and have your family wake you up too, huh?
Good girl, what a responsible little producer you are.♪
You’ve gone and gotten all amazing…
But Secchan keeps complaining, “It’s boring nowadays, I can’t say anything to her,” so make sure to act careless sometimes, okay?
Tsukasa: Ritsu-senpai! Oneesama! Good morning!♪
Sora: HaHa~♪ Good morning! If you see someone in the morning, you should always greet them!
Ritsu: Oh, Su~chan… G’morning~ You came here together with that kid?
You’re getting along well, huh. Good, good, I was worried Su~chan didn’t have any friends his own age.♪
Tsukasa: How rude… I believe I’m at least fitting in with my own class.
Sora: HiHi~♪ Did Sora become friends with Tsuka-chan? If he did, then he’s happy, you know~♪
…Ah, I can “see” Senpai’s footsteps.
Tsumugi: Good morning~♪
Tsukasa: Good morning, Aoba-senpai! I look forward to working together again today~!
Tsumugi: Oh my, how very polite… You sure know your manners, Suou-kun.
Knights must be good at raising their child. I’d love my kids to learn from you.
Sora: Mm~? Sora thinks he’s being polite to Senpai, though? And Shisho~ is violent sometimes, but that’s an expression of love, you know~?
Tsumugi: Yes, I know. It just would be nice if he could be more honest about his love and respect, you see… It hurts when he hits me, after all.
By the way, Anzu-chan, you asked for the outfits to be sent here ahead of time, right?
I’ve been pretty scattered right up until the performance day, and I completely forgot to contact people about that. I was so worried.
Fufu. I see~ That’s all been taken care of?
Both the outfits I made for Switch, and the outfits you made for Knights… they’re both here already, right?
Oh, good. I’m so glad you’re here, Anzu-chan~
I work slowly, so it’s doubtful I could have finished all of Knights’ outfits too.
Fufu. You already had my outfits, so it was just a matter of matching with them… you say?
Ah, well, even then, it’s a lot of work to start from only the design in such a short period of time.
Actually, it’s normally impossible. You really worked hard, didn’t you… Anzu-chan.♪
Ahaha, it’s no problem because you like making outfits? I see~ You enjoy it, so you just naturally got better at it, huh.
Ritsu: Mm~ What were our outfits like again?
I think Switch are Japanese-style magicians, so onmyoji is their motif, but…?
Hm. You borrowed that idea and used “Japanese-style knights” to make something samurai-like?
Warriors and knights aren’t all that similar, actually~ Oh, so that’s why you had trouble settling on just a plain samurai image?
I see. There was a lot of thought put into them. I’m excited to wear them.♪
Tsukasa: Yes. We barely had time to rehearse, but Oneesama’s care brings me strength.
I’ll do my best for this joint live between Knights and Switch – the Feast of Good Fortune.
Sora: HuHu~♪ It sounds like a celebration, yeah~? A party for bringing in good luck!
Tsukasa: Yes. Just as the name suggests, our basic goal is… to bring in good fortune for our audience.
To say it in a more misleading way, we are an opening act. Before the main grand opening from the theater troupe, we will hold a live show to attract visitors.
Ritsu: Fufu. Secchan was all “What, we’re not the main event~?” He looked so disappointed.♪
But this is probably the best choice.
I had guessed this theater would be like a second auditorium for us, but.... At the moment, Yumenosaki’s own auditorium is almost completely monopolized by the idol course.
Tsumugi: Yeah. It became even more of a trend when the S3 system was established and live performances increased.
Yumenosaki Academy’s main purpose is training idols, after all. And that’s reasonable, since we had good results in the recent SS live.
However, while the idol course is developing in leaps and bounds, the other courses are slowly being neglected.
There’s no one who will speak out against that, so it’s easy to forget it’s happening.
But since long ago, Yumenosaki has had other kinds of courses, headed by the theater course.
And starting from next year, plenty of new courses, including the producer course, are going to become full-fledged programs.
But if the idol course continues to enjoy this one-party rule… then it’s only a matter of time before dissatisfaction builds up in other courses, and it ends up getting bad.
Those voices, the cries of the minority being brushed aside… we can’t ignore them.
