Tsukasa: (However, in the background of our regular performance lurks a plan for revolution, waiting for its chance to pounce.)
(The remaining members of Knights who aren’t graduating— in other words me, Narukami-senpai, and Ritsu-senpai…)
(…Shall each wear the crown in turn for the performances in the first half of Repayment Festival.)
(A metaphorical crown, of course. In our respective performances, each of us shall assume all privileges as King.)
(We will be the ruler, the guide to whom Knights pledge loyalty.)
(In other words, we all have a turn to become Leader.)
(Judging by the schedule, we will have a total of nine performances in the first half.)
(The three of us have three performances each, the stages of which we will manage completely by ourselves.)
(We will have complete freedom to choose which songs to add to the program, which outfits to dress in, and what sort of performance we’d like to do.)
(The other members will have to follow each leader’s instructions earnestly and without question.)
(Of course, intentionally holding back would be counted as a penalty)
(Such a despicable act would be unbefitting of a knight, let alone a king. It would mean instant defeat.)
(The member could even be forced to leave Knights…or so we’ve discussed. Even if they still have Repayment Festival performances left to lead, they’ll be taken to the guillotine right then and there.)
(If all of Requiem’s battling participants are defeated or disqualified, then Knights will immediately be disbanded.)
(I suppose it would be a fitting end for the ones foolish enough to aim their arrows at the king.)
(However, if at least one fighter survives until the end with their head still on their shoulders...)
(The revolution will be a success, and the one to be executed will be our king himself… Leo Tsukinaga.)
(If multiple participants fight through to the end, the one who accumulated the highest number of points will become the ultimate winner.)
(They will assume all rights of the crown as the next King of Knights – like the Lionheart who slew his own father and took the throne into his hands.) [1]
(As the King, that person can give a single order to each member...their knights.)
(It is the royal privilege: all knights must follow those orders without question.)
(Those are what the rules decree. We even drafted a contract and took an oath to honor its terms, just short of signing in blood.)
(I cannot guess at what Narukami-senpai and Ritsu-senpai may be thinking, but…)
(Should we gain the power to rule, it would shine light upon our future and return it from the calamitous path Leader sent it down in his sudden outrage.)
(If I win, I will have Leader take back every one of his words from that day. Those cursed words, with which he claimed he would quit idol work and disband Knights.)
(I know those are not his true feelings.)
(No matter how you look at it, they are a challenge. “Don’t like it? Then come at me with all your strength! Take victory into your own hands!” – isn’t that what he meant to say?)
(He threatened us by taking our respected and beloved king--himself--as hostage.)
(As if I would ever yield to such filthy schemes... I will not permit a villain like that to have his way with us.)
(Though I don’t quite understand...why Leader so suddenly challenged us, expending so much energy simply to spark a fight among us.)
(Perhaps, like Judgment, it is a plot to force us to evolve by giving us a difficult trial… But is that truly the whole picture?)
(In that instant when he yelled “I hate you all!”, it was so unlike him, but the look in his eyes…was deadly serious.)
(My seniors, usually so calm and collected, were completely unsettled by it.)
(If no one had stopped him, I fear that Leader might really have disappeared… I felt something else there, some intention, faint but urgent.)
(Even now, recalling it gives me chills.)
(In the end, do we...do I…still know nothing about him?)
(No… I’m certain there are still sides of him I have yet to know and encounter.)
(But I want to extend a hand to those parts of him, and at the very least, be by his side.)
(If a pitiful child shivers within him, then I wish to gently embrace it.)
(And if there lurks instead a hideous, evil monster eating away at him from the inside, then I shall strike it down with my blade.)
(With the greatest honor…I, Tsukasa Suou, shall proudly wield this sword you gave to me.)

Leo: ~…♪
Hey Suo~, don’t move~ The crown’s gonna fall off.
Tsukasa: …?! L-Leader, what are you doing?!
Leo: What am I doing? I’m living and breathing! Also choosing a crown!
This one looks nice on you, but maybe I’ll choose different ones for Naru and Rittsu… Might as well go all out, right?
I’ve got nothing to do, anyway! Wahaha! We should’ve made a rule where me and Sena get to take turns being the King in Requiem, too!
But since it looks like Repayment Fes is the first event this year where the younger students take the spotlight, I guess we third years shouldn’t butt in, huh?
I mean, if me and Sena took part too, you guys wouldn’t even stand a chance! Wahahaha☆
Tsukasa: Such confidence… Wh—please stop plonking the crown down on top of my head! Not only is it humiliating, it also feels rather disrespectful!
Leo: Disrespectful to who? I’m the King right now, so I’m free to do whatever I want with it, right?

[1] Likely a reference to Richard I (aka the Lionheart) who apparently led a rebellion against his own father, Henry II. Interestingly enough, his death date is the same as Tsukasa's birth date, April 6th.
