Ritsu: (…Uh…okay? Well, for now, I guess I kept things from screeching to a halt.)
(Geez, I had everything perfectly smoothed out in advance, so I thought I’d be fine today. But actually, it feels like I’ll lose hold of my position if I don’t cling onto it with everything I have.)
(I never knew leading Knights was this tough…)
(Here we are, wearing outfits inspired by a military system with strict leadership, and yet everyone’s running wild as they please, egos bared for all to see.)
(With the excuse of being “individualists”, we’re all just trying to stand out the most amongst each other …)
(Even Nacchan, despite always acting as our mediator, is being especially bold for some reason…)
(It would’ve been so much easier for me to attack from behind or from the sides…)
(Acting as the King isn’t anything like being a strategist. I’m having a hard time because I’m not used to it at all.)
(But I just can’t help it, you know? I never grew up in power… All my life, Oniichan was at the top of the world, far above me.)
(And there he stayed, at the center of everything, all to protect his weak little brother…)
(All I could do was crouch in my safe little corner, mumbling and grumbling.)
(Of course, I know none of it was Oniichan’s fault…)

“A good little boy who’s clever and knowledgeable, always sleeping in a corner so he stays out of everyone’s way!”

“You, the guy who’s always watching from somewhere around us like a ghost, only throwing in complaints every now and then!”
“Mingle with us a little more! I wanna know more about you! You’re one of my comrades!”
“All of you took my hand and dragged me back to this warm and comfy place!”
“But you, you’re like a cat! You sleep all day only to wake up to meow at us once in a while, and that’s it! It’s so boring!”
“Are you supposed to be someone’s treasured pet? Or maybe some side character whose only role is to give us motivation or comfort?!”
“No, you’re not! Come on, cross over into the third dimension here-- I know you can do it! Come closer! Isn’t it lonely over there in that corner?!”
Ritsu: ……
Leo: “Hey! If you heard me then say something! If you’re a human with ears, you’ll answer if I call out to you, right?!”
“A cat might ignore me whenever it feels like it, and it’d be a moot point trying to talk to a ghost or some storybook character!”
“But you’re a human living in this world, aren’t you, Ritsu Sakuma?!”
Ritsu: …Uh…yes? I can hear you just fine, though? I don’t get why you’re doing this! You’ve completely interrupted the song, y’know?
Leo: “Who cares about all that?! I can barely hear you! Answer me one more time! This is your last chance, Ritsu Sakuma!”
Ritsu: “Y-Yes, I am! Seriously, what’s going on…?”
Leo: “Alright, finally got through to you! Good! ♪ Good to see you’re alive and kicking, Ritsu Sakuma!”
“Then we’ll start the performance over again! Sorry to keep you all waiting! Here’s a song from the five of us~…☆”
Ritsu: (…? …?)
(…W-What was that? That was really weird!)
(When he called my name, everyone looked at me. All eyes turned to stare straight at me, and I thought I was gonna burn to ashes… Ahh, what a shock.)
(But it’s strange… It wasn’t a bad feeling. It was actually... pretty exciting.)
Izumi: Hmph. How bold of you, Kuma-kun~ Stealing the audience’s gaze all for yourself, huh?
Ritsu: Uh, yeah. Though I didn’t mean to… What was that all about, anyway?
Izumi: Who knows? Don’t ask me, it’s not like I’m an expert on that moron.
Ritsu: But you used to be close, right? You were always together… You looked like you understood each other more than anyone else, you know? Just like me and Ma~kun.
