Tsukasa: (Ah, that’s right… I heard that Kagehira-senpai had gone missing for a while.)

(I imagine Narukami-senpai was really worried, even coming and asking me if I’d seen him anywhere...)

(“That person” Narukami-senpai was looking for that day was most likely Kagehira-senpai.)

(He must be a very important friend. What a pure friendship, with no room to entertain thoughts of loss or gain…)

(Only someone like Narukami-senpai, who can love and be loved with all sincerity, can acquire such an enviable relationship.)

(I do have a few I can call my own friends, like Harukawa-kun, but… I’m still so inexperienced, so very clumsy with it…)

(In that respect, I feel I may never match up to my seniors all my life.)

Tori: ……

Tsukasa: …What’s the matter, Tori-kun? Is there something on my face?

Tori: Yeah, a fugly pair of eyes and a fugly nose and mouth.

Tsukasa: Pardon me? Are you trying to pick a fight? I’m very sorry, but as you can see I’m rather preoccupied with battle at the moment, so could you save it for another day?

Tori: Yeah, sure. I don’t have the energy to fight with you either, but I’ll get you later. You kept going missing, you know, and got everyone worried over you…

Better pull yourself together, you lil brat!

Tsukasa: Excuse me?! I don’t want to hear you treating me like a child when you’re the younger one between us!

Tori: Uweehh!! Quit pinching my cheek! I gotta show up for more performances today too, you know!

Hurry up and learn your idol dos and don’ts already!

Mao: Ahaha, knock it off with the fighting, okay~ Well, maybe you’re actually “getting along”, but seriously, I gotta do some work.

Mika: Oh, sorry ‘bout that! I said what I needed t’say, so I’m gonna split! I’m rootin’ for y’all too, Knights!

Naru-chan… y’all take care, y’hear? ♪

Arashi: Yup, y’all take care too~♪

Ufufu, I’m glad Mika-chan came. I was really on edge there, but I’m feeling better thanks to him. ♪

It has been such a weird day. I’m usually known for doing everything in moderation, but not today, I guess?

Mao: Ahaha. To be honest, it’d be a problem if you were calm.

Tenshouin-senpai let it slip earlier, too, but Knights made it through the first half safely without dropping out.

I can’t officially announce it yet since we haven’t finished counting the votes, but it’s looking like you all took first place by a huge lead.

Makes me proud as your student council president! Well, I guess I might sound full of myself, but personally I’m pretty happy my rivals are so strong. ♪

Izumi: That so? I knew we were pretty much guaranteed for the second half, but our results were really that good, huh?

Well, I suppose I saw with my own eyes how much we got the crowd going.

Tsukasa: W-Which means—we’ve triumphed over even Trickstar, right?!

Fufu, so that means we’ve now made it clear exactly who comes out on top and who is below…♪

Mao: Well, to be real with you, you guys’ve always had more wins than us based on track records alone… It’s been clear all along, though we’ll definitely turn the tables on you soon.

Besides, we never even joined Repayment Fes in the first place.

We’ve been working behind the scenes as staff, but we’re not performing, so there’s no winning or losing here.

Tsukasa: Wait, you aren’t?! Why? Is it because…no one in Trickstar is graduating this year?

Mao: …Mm… Is it okay to tell them, Tenshouin-senpai?

Eichi: Not yet. We should impose martial law, at least until Repayment Festival reaches a certain point, else we risk losing the healthy tension we have in the air.

To give you a rough idea, though-- I’ve entrusted them with a different task.

It will be a decisive game that predicts the future of the idol industry… As a result, I had them hold off on Repayment Festival.

White Day activities will be part of that task, anyway.

Though it was short notice, I’m certain we’ve already announced that Trickstar would not be performing. Rather, I’m more surprised that you didn’t know about it.

Tsukasa: Ahh, well, my situation has been quite pressing until today… Unfortunately, I’ve remained unaware.

Tch... I thought we’d finally managed to crush them completely.

Tori: Ah! You called me crude, but here you are clicking your tongue~♪

Tsukasa: …Pardon me, that just slipped out. It appears my childish habits still remain.

Mao: Ahaha. Well, anyway, that’s not what I’m trying to get at here.

Knights have that, er… Requiem thing going on? You’re doing something weird with Repayment Fes, right?

Anzu wanted me to pass on a message to you.

Apparently she had a feeling Knights might win the top spot in the first half… so she prepared a special plan just in case.

Tsukasa: Oneesama? You already made an entire side plan for Requiem, yet you still have even more tricks up your sleeve…?

How admirable. Oneesama is truly amazing-- gifted not only with beauty but intelligence as well. ♪

Izumi: Hmph. Don’t get all carried away with his flattery and try too hard. We don’t need you collapsing again.

How many times do I have to tell you before you finally listen, huh? Am I talking to thin air? Sooo~ annoying!

Arashi: Come on, do you really have to put it that way? But well, Oneechan agrees. Being “married to work” is one way to live life, but…

If work is all you do, then you’ll turn out like Kunugi-sensei. Then whoever falls for you won’t ever have their feelings returned, you know?

Ritsu: Yup. Health comes first. Make sure to keep up the quality of your blood for me, alright? Hey Ecchan, why don’t you recommend her a doctor or something?

Eichi: Far ahead of you. That’s another one of my gifts of repayment to her.

As for you all, however, just expressing your affection and concern with words doesn’t quite amount to repayment.

There’s something more Anzu-chan wishes for-- something she’s after. Isn’t that right, Mao?

Mao: Yup yup! The student council’s got prep and stuff to take care of, so we’ll be right alongside you, but...

We have a role we’d like Knights to play in the second half.

Well actually, since we have the chance, it’s more like a ritual we’d like you to carry out.

Izumi: A ritual…? That sounds a little ominous. Why spring this on us so suddenly?

Mao: Really, it’s not much. We’ll be counting on you to do this one thing for us.

On that note, as self-appointed rep for Trickstar here, just let me say this:

Never stop being both incredible idols and our greatest rivals… Knights. ♪

Tori: Hey, aren’t fine your greatest rivals?

Eichi: Fufu. Despite acting like the heroes, you seem to have more enemies than friends around you… don’t you?

No, perhaps that’s exactly what makes you the heroes. Your story has only just begun… It’s still much too early for your own Repayment Fes.

And the same goes for you, Knights. It’d be such a shame to bring an end to your story here when it’s been such a hit so far. ♪

Tsukasa: …?
