(A while later. During the meeting to decide Knights' future plans, provisionally named the "Round Table Meeting")
Tsukasa: Silence! Shut up!
Quarreling any longer than this would be counterproductive, so if I may, I would like to summarize the main points thus far! Are there any objections?!
Leo: I agree with Suo~!
Izumi: That's all you say these days, Leo-kun. Don't you have any opinions of your own?
Leo: Yeah, I do, and it's that you guys need to shut up! How am I supposed to concentrate on my songs if you keep screaming in my ear?
Ritsu: Same here. I can't sleep with all this noise around me.
Tsukasa: You aren't supposed to sleep! I would prefer you and Narukami-senpai participate in the discussion, please!
You should express your opinion if you have one! You wouldn't want Sena-senpai to outmaneuver us again like he did in The Next—er, Next Door, would you?!
Izumi: Excuse me?! Do you have something you wanna say to me?
I didn't hear any objections at the time, though? And besides, if I didn't take drastic measures, Knights would've already broken apart by now, right?
Tsukasa: Wh—Knights is not that fragile! That was Leo-san's personal problem! Knights itself is quite solid!
In fact, I daresay that ever since I inherited the throne, our unit has gained power and influence the likes of which we've never seen before!
Izumi: Are you stupid? Or just blind to reality? The only thing we've gained is more members, and we haven't even been properly active because we're so absorbed in taking care of them. Or am I wrong?!
Tsukasa: Th-That's only because my seniors simply cannot reach an agreement and continue their own selfish behaviors!
Leo: Yeah, I'm on Suo~'s side here!
Izumi: Come on, are "I'm on Suo~'s side" and "I agree with Suo~" the only things in your vocabulary these days?!
Besides, you're getting flak here too, right? Why are you acting like it's not your problem?
Arashi: ...Maybe I'm overthinking it, Izumi-chan, but don't you seem a little more prickly than usual? Did something happen in Florence?
Ritsu: Come to think of it, Secchan co-starred with "Yuu-kun" just recently, right? Maybe seeing his junior catching up to him got him on edge?
Arashi: Ah... Izumi-chan always wants to make sure he's the superior one, doesn't he? Not an ounce of flexibility in him, surprisingly.
Maybe he's confused because a junior who's supposed to be below him is scolding him without giving him a chance to explain?
Izumi: Hey, shut it! If you're not gonna back me up, can you just shut up? Or die?
Ritsu: Urgh, those are some ugly words. You're just taking your anger out on us. Are you throwing a tantrum or something?
Arashi: You're not gonna have any friends left if you keep that up, Izumi-chan.
...Ugh, never mind. This is just repeating what Tsukasa-chan said earlier, but it's not productive to keep yelling at each other for so long.
Hurting each other helps no one, and it's just a waste of time.
Instead of arguing in circles here, I'd much rather be getting dolled up at a beauty salon right about now.
Ritsu: (Oh... Crap, I think even Nacchan's annoyed right now.)
(I mean, lately Nacchan's been grumbling about not being in the mood for makeup, and I haven't been getting enough sleep...)
(Not to mention the other three of us. Secchan and Su~chan are unstable as usual—or rather, they're always disrupting the peace because they have to prove their point.)
(And maybe it's because his environment changed, or maybe it's the Mikejimama thing... But even Tsukipi~, who's always so carefree, has been acting even weirder lately... )
(That's probably why we start arguing every time we get together. How did it even get this way in the first place, though?)
Tsukasa: Indeed. Thank goodness for your level-headed input, Narukami-senpai. It's just as you say. And I do hope the rest of you can learn from this example.
Izumi: Do you have to sound so irritating every single time...? If everyone was a narcissist like Naru-kun, I don't think this friendly little unit would last so long, though?
Arashi: Oh, and you aren't a narcissist?
Ritsu: (Whoa, usually Nacchan would laugh off a little jab like that.)
(Everybody's at the end of their rope here, taking shots at each other and drawing blood. Ugh, I hope that dream I just had doesn't come true...)
(Well, instead of watching from the sidelines, I should probably butt in if I wanna change how things are going right now. But I don't feel like it, and it's a pain, and it's scary—)
(I've never been good at that kind of thing. I don't wanna end up like Anija, who was worn thin because he kept sticking his nose in other people's business.)
(I scold him all the time for that anyway, so I'd rather avoid making the same exact mistakes, you know?)

T/N: About Tsukasa's English, it's quite well-known that he tends to intersperse his speech with well-pronounced words that have been carried from English to the Japanese language. Historically, I've simply fitted his words into his English lines because I felt it was the best solution for my own translation style. Moving forward, I am considering localizing his perfect pronunciation issues in more creative ways.
For now, please enjoy the utter pretentiousness of [Tsukasa voice] The Next Door. :)
