Izumi: Right now, it's true—people are in our debt just by associating with us.

Why? Because we're the insanely popular Big 3 idol unit Knights.

There are tons of people who would want to fly our flag on their doorstep.

But the entertainment industry isn't so kind. You can't remain a public favorite forever without putting in the work and solving issues as they come.

Besides, I'm sure other units are slowly getting used to the current situation and cleaning up their problems along the way—no doubt they're already growing and moving forward.

But what about us? Is there anything that's improved about us since the crown passed from Leo-kun to Kasa-kun?

I've said it a lot already, but literally all we've done is get more members—and for what?

We just keep shoveling time and money into taking care of a bunch of newbies who are barely useful to us yet, and thanks to that, we haven't had a proper performance in ages.

Arashi: Mm~... I mean, we have been performing onstage regularly, but I suppose it doesn't seem like a lot compared to last year.

Tsukasa: But last year, were we not virtually inactive until Leo-san returned?

Izumi: Trying to pin the blame on someone for that, hm?

Tsukasa: All I'm saying is that if we're to take the previous year into account, we should not forget the fact that we were inactive, especially in the beginning.

They say great talent matures late; we are simply the type that takes time to blossom.

Our subjugation of Yumenosaki is finally nearing completion, after all. All we have left is to tie up the loose ends.

Once we've reached that point and completed our investment into the future, then we can return to the battlefield to sing praises of our valor.

Leo: Yeah~! All the confusion around my position finally got straightened out, so the rest'll be fine if we all work together!

Arashi: I wonder about that... It does sound a little too optimistic.

We might use disturbing words like "subjugation" to describe it, but in reality, all we did was put most of Yumenosaki's students under NewDi's jurisdiction.

Some of them have joined Knights, some of them chose units under Natsume-chan, who's commonly known at school as one of the powerful Five Eccentrics...

And one of the other big ones, Ryuseitai-N, split into separate groups just recently...

Can we really say that we "rule" over the school?

Tsukasa: We can. At present, most of the students are under our authority. The rest have either joined other prominent units...

Or they are neutral parties managed by the student council—I doubt they'll be any obstacle to us.

We would take them down if they did oppose us, of course. But most of the other influential units have moved their base to ES, and the current president is quite moderate.

Arashi: Right, he is kind of moderate... or more like middle management.

It really seemed like Mao-chan preferred to let us win and wrap things up quickly instead of dragging out the conflict for nothing, huh.

Ritsu: Heheh. Rather than whoever ends up winning, Ma~kun's the type to care more about the ones who are left behind to cry over their defeat.

He probably just wants to cut the fighting short so he can go wipe their tears...

That's why I think he's more Kei-chan's successor than Ecchan's.

Leo: Yeah! I don't have a clue who you're talking about with all those nicknames!

Arashi: Hehe. Well, anyway—

Since we now have a lot more "subjects" to rule over, we're taking on a pretty huge burden.

It's been quite the headache having to train and manage the new members since spring, right?

Now, because we've been totally absorbed in taking over the school, we haven't gotten used to our new environment at ES as much as some of the other units have.

And things will probably continue to be that way.

It's not like we're dealing with data in a game or something—we have real humans we need to take care of. Their lives have so much weight, so we can never, ever just toss them out.

With all that on our shoulders, do you really think we can have the same magnificent successes as last year... Tsukasa-chan?

Tsukasa: ...Just whose side are you on, Narukami-senpai? Haven't you always given me your full support and cooperation until now?

Arashi: But that's only natural. That's what me and Ritsu-chan are here for.

We're supposed to stand at your side as knights to a ruler, supporting and advocating for the King while making his ideas into reality.

It might sound like we're playing make-believe, but trust me, I'm actually pretty serious about this.

"I want to do everything for this boy, to make our King's ideals come true"—

I swore this on my sword in Requiem and the Coronation.

Tsukasa: ......

Arashi: Even now, I don't regret that one bit. But you see, just as someone here said, I'm a narcissist—

I don't want my whole life to be sitting at home taking care of the kids. I still want to show off my phenomenal charm and beauty to the world.

But is that really possible with the way we are right now?

Is it possible for me to prove onstage that I'm the most beautiful person in the entire world, with the current Knights—

With a Knights that seems to be straying further and further away from being idols?

It kind of scares me to think about... I'm sorry, Tsukasa-chan. I know I need to be there to believe in you.

Tsukasa: ......

Arashi: But if I have to be honest, I'd say I'm more on Izumi-chan's side here.
