(A while later, during Tsukasa and Leo's turn)
Tsukasa: ♪~♪~♪
"—And that is what I wished to convey to you all!"
Leo: "Wahaha! Since we had the chance, I made it into a musical!"
"I have a whole heap of music I made for today, anyway! Figured sitting through a speech would be super boring."
Tsukasa: "Indeed. It is fortunate that all these new songs you wrote haven't gone to waste. I'm relieved to see you've recovered from your slump, Leo-san."
Leo: "Yep! Seems like Akatsuki's gotten back on their feet, after all. I was worried sick about 'em, but now I'm so relieved I could laugh out loud!"
"What was it, 'Unification by Force'? That was an awesome show!"
"My friends are so incredible, I felt the inspiration washing right over me! Wahaha! ☆"
Tsukasa: "I'm afraid I don't know much about that, but well, as they say, all's right with the world now."
Ritsu: We still don't know how euthanasia turned out though, which means we're actually still in the middle of war. Not sure that's the right phrase to use here.
Oh, but I guess we kinda know what the results are already. Maybe it's fine.
Tsukasa: ? But the fans are still in the middle of voting. We have no idea what the results will look like, and I'm quite certain it will be a very close race.
Leo: Yeah, that's right! Naru and Sena were awesome, too! It was so good!
I was so bowled over by their performance, I almost couldn't get myself to dance!
Arashi: Oh, well, thank you. The way you give out honest praise without any ulterior motives is one of your best traits, Leo-kun. ♪
Izumi: You guys put on a good show, too, actually. It felt so fresh, y'know—
But with both the current and former Kings keeping it grounded, it still felt like a Knights performance.
Leo: Whoa, Sena gave us a real compliment! Didn't expect that!
Cut it out~ How're we supposed to keep the balance between each other?! You gotta stick to your character traits...!
Izumi: Dunno what you're going on about, but do you have to pin the blame on me?
Ritsu: Heh, well I'm glad to see you two are getting along, but can we stop kicking up a fuss and get ready for the next performance already?
Izumi: Huh? What do you mean, "next performance"? Both teams have finished our shows already—that means euthanasia's over, right?
Ritsu: Or so you thought~ It's not over yet...
Team Nacchan and Team Su~chan already had their turns, but there's still the third team left to go.
Tsukasa: A... third team? Erm, I'm not certain I understand... Who could it possibly be? Have you gathered up yet another band of mysterious mercenaries to fight us?
Arashi: I just knew you were plotting something, Ritsu-chan.
Ritsu: Ahaha. I didn't bring anyone who isn't related to Knights, though. This euthanasia is an arranged version of Judgment—
In the end, we're only fighting within our own group, so only our group can stand on this stage.
Leo: ...? So... what does that mean?
Explain it so even the slow kids can understand! I feel like I've been saying that kinda thing all the time lately!
Ritsu: Heh heh heh. If even the super sharp Tsukipi~ doesn't get it, then that's a relief for me...
I thought I'd gotten caught up in my own schemes and was just dancing around in the palm of your hands...
I guess this means I've built up some skills as someone who's supposed to be our strategist?
Izumi: Seriously, what the hell is this about...? Quit dangling it in front of us and explain yourself already, Kuma-kun! I won't complain about it afterward, okay?
Ritsu: Pretty sure that's a lie. Well, no point in dragging it out, so I'll explain.
A third team is going to stand on the euthanasia stage, led by me. And that team's name is—Knights.
Tsukasa: Huh? Led by... Ritsu-senpai?
Ritsu: Yup, just this once, though. It's a team of the five of us, plus all the many newbies who came running over to assist us—
Knights, the greatest force at Yumenosaki and one of ES's Big 3, will be temporarily led by yours truly, Ritsu Sakuma.
Tsukasa: Uh...? Wah! I see the new members have truly come! When did they get here?!
Ritsu: I asked Anzu to get them for me~ The newbies have been in the care of the Producer Course, after all, and she's been spearheading it.
That already takes a huge load off our shoulders. Besides, we never kicked them out of the group or anything, right? They're all still a part of Knights.
They still have the right to stand onstage here and perform.
Izumi: Okay, that's true, but... Are they gonna be okay? They're not used to doing performances on the fly like we are, right?
Arashi: Right... It's easy enough for us to start singing and dancing to songs Leo-kun made up on the spot, but...
Ritsu: They're gonna be fine~ They should've been practicing for this day already. I made Anzu tell them to come to every practice and whip up something presentable.
Unlike in Chess, the youngsters in Knights are diligent kids, overflowing with passion.
We wanted them to be this way, right? That's why we were so enthusiastic with our training.
