Ritsu: This is gonna be a total breeze. ♪

...or maybe not, at least this time around. Actually, this might be really bad.

Should've expected it from our King—he knows us Knights like the back of his hand.

Tsukasa: W-Whatever do you mean? Do things look dire, Ritsu-senpai?

Ritsu: Ah, well... I thought it'd be easy going up against a makeshift unit, but we've also been dealing with songs we're not used to.

So we're a little out of our element, I guess? Doesn't help that our opponents are tough, too.

Secchan and Nacchan probably aren't gonna bite the dust, but they won't get out unscathed either.

We're doing what we always do, and that's about it.

Tsukasa: ...And that means...?

Ritsu: Our cards are out in the open, and the show's getting dragged on and on.

One after another, the songs and performances we've prepared are being exposed.

And on the other hand... Knight Killers have His Majesty with them.

There's practically no limit to their arsenal. The King can even write songs on the spot.

Of course, even if he whips up some new ones, nobody's practiced for them, so it's not like they can be used right away.

But we're up against some pretty exceptional opponents. With good technique and a few tricks here and there...

They miiight be able to fool the audience on the fly, at least as long as this show lasts?

They'd perform well enough that no one would notice it was a song literally written that day.

In other words, our opponents are being provided with an endless supply of firepower.

But all we have are the handful of songs the school supplied to us. We're gonna run out of ammo in no time.

It wasn't a fair fight from the beginning. Too late to do anything about it now, though.

Ahhh, so this is what it's like to fight with the King... This is no time for rebellion or revolution.

Unprepared and outclassed, we pointed our blades at our ruler—there probably wasn't any chance of winning. I mean, we only need to take the King's head to win, but...

He's got some very solid defenses, y'know?

Secchan and Nacchan might be seasoned warriors, but there's only so much they can do.

I need to think of a plan—and quickly, since the longer this drags on, the worse things look for us.

Heh heh heh... It's getting a little fun now. ♪

Tsukasa: Seeing you able to laugh in such a situation is incredibly heartening, Ritsu-senpai...

A tad unnerving as well, but... Knights truly do shine their brightest upon the battlefield. ♪

Eek?! Ah, m-my apologies, Onee-sama! I shouldn't be moving around, yes? Right, I understand!

Agh, it is most vexing to be stuck here changing outfits, unable to assess the situation out there!

Ritsu: Our outfits weren't finished until the very last minute, so we've had to do the final fitting in a mad rush.

We don't have time to sew up any rips, so stop thrashing around and make sure it fits you nice and snug, okay~?

Tsukasa: Y-Yes, I will—eeyah! Onee-sama, that tickles!

Ritsu: Ahaha. Thanks for all your efforts, Anzu~ Not only did you keep up with our practices the whole time, but you even made outfits for us.

What a hard worker you are, huh? Pet, pet ♪

After Judgment's over, make sure you get a good, long night's sleep. Your blood gets all murky when you're tired, after all.

Su~chan, you can take your time getting ready. Whether Secchan and Nacchan win or lose, I'm still up next.

Stay in reserve 'til the end, okay? Be as poised and dignified as a king should... ♪

Tsukasa: Mm? It's certainly true that I've been chosen as the king this time round, for some reason...

My loss means Knights' loss. It is only logical to save me for last.

However, based on what you've said, it would be to our disadvantage to fight too long, right?

Would it not be better to charge in with all our forces at once, while we still have them?

Ritsu: Not really. That's what our foes want us to do.

It's too much of a pain to lay it out in detail, but our current strategy gives us the greatest chance at victory.

His Majesty has been lying in wait to ambush us with a huge grin on his face. If we're too hasty, we'll end up surrounded and perish just like that.

The first clash is what Secchan and Nacchan are performing right now, and...

I think it'll end in their victory after a long, dragged-out fight.

At that point, most of our cards'll have been played. We might end up with more people on our side, but we'll actually be at a disadvantage.

I'm willing to bet that that's how it'll turn out.

Tsukasa: Hm... True, those two would never lose against an improvised unit. I have no doubt they will return in victory. ♪

Ritsu: Yeah, but with most of our ammo used up. If we were gonna fight at our full power, we should've just started with all four of us from the beginning.

Sorry, it's my mistake... Strategizing's supposed to be my job, but...

I just followed our usually unbeatable strategy, and didn't manage to predict that things would turn out this way.

I didn't stop to think that things are different this time. That it's not a Duel, but a Judgment.

That our opponent is the leader of Knights, someone who's much more used to Duels and Judgments, who knows us better than we know ourselves—

I didn't stop to think... that our opponent is His Majesty.
