Some notes:
Saori Codama, the lyricist, commented on the most recent Midnight Request Hour that she wrote the lyrics of Castle of my Heart to be more straightforward and determined to make love last, to contrast with Knights' previous love songs (f.e. Silent Oath) where the singers were taking a step back from love. She said that this was meant to symbolize the shift in Knights' direction with its new king,
Additionally, Asanuma (Leo's voice actor) apparently requested that he sing the upper harmony in the final line to make it feel like Leo is supporting Tsukasa from behind, former king to new king... (Asanuma is the BEST) :')

This song is just soooooooooo beautiful - and I might be off by a longshot here but I feel it represents a whole lot about how Tsukasa views life/love/relationships - it might be difficult, but carry on through and you'll be rewarded in the end and that there's honor in perseverance ♥

WAH that's a wonderful way to view it tbh... I did notice that Tsukasa (and also Leo) has some pretty significant voice parts in this song and I can definitely see the influence of his dogged determination to protect love !!! We love a determined king <3
