Arashi: Uh... We can do that, but how, exactly?
Things might've calmed down a little, but considering the Kansai region's still a warzone—are there any safe places left?
And if there are, why haven't we run to one already?
Ritsu: Mm, we needed to make sure we got enough SSL$ to be able to make it through the qualifiers.
By my own personal creed—as long as I am myself, I wanted to avoid making that choice at all costs.
Arashi: What choice? You mean going under your brother's protection?
Ritsu: Nobody was talking about Anija.
Tsukasa: Yes, I imagine it'd be difficult to rely on other units we know, including UNDEAD.
We are all bound by the rule that forbids leaving one's assigned region. It is nigh impossible to work in tandem with one another.
Setting that aside, I was unable to bring this up until this morning when we were left completely out of options, as I supposed you would definitely dislike this, but—
Ritsu: Yeah, you can't just dump stuff on us last minute, Su~chan. Not that you don't always.
Tsukasa: My apologies.
Ritsu: Well, at least you did discuss it with me in the end.
Tsukasa: You are Knights' strategist and advisor, Ritsu-senpai. I could never do this without first discussing it with you. Besides, I need everyone's cooperation to make this plan work.
Arashi: Um, what's this all about? What are you making us do?
Tsukasa: —We will be renting a certain theater in the Kansai region.
Then we shall close ourselves inside, and, until the final moments of the qualifiers, hold Knights performances without rest.
Arashi: Wait... what? Until the prelims end? We still have just over a week! Are we going to be performing for that entire time?
Tsukasa: Yes. Without food, without drink, without stopping a moment...
...Without sleep, without rest, we shall sing and dance.
Arashi: We'd die for real, you know.
Tsukasa: Then we shall simply try not to die. Honest efforts shall always be rewarded.
Now see, if we perform non-stop, then we can stifle any possibility of other units coming into contact with us.
Other units can approach us while we rest, so we shall not rest. We shall seal off any means, any sliver of a chance which others may use to reach us.
Since we will be onstage the whole time, even if a letter of challenge arrives on our phones, we can simply say we did not notice as we were otherwise occupied.
Anyone with good sense would hesitate to contact us, seeing that we are busy.
Arashi: Even if they did go ahead and challenge us, we can turn them down by saying we're taking care of other business. Though our secret order of course makes things more complicated...
Yeah. What's really scary is if someone crashed our concert—
We'll have to keep a tight guard on the entrance to the theater we're renting so that nobody too reckless can get in.
Tsukasa: Right. And in the first place, we are considered "at work" while performing.
While interrupting another idol's work isn't forbidden—it would not look good to ES, our managers.
None would be so foolish as to risk committing a grave mistake that would invite ire from ES, which is nearly synonymous with the industry itself, all to confront the powerful Knights.
Those who are thinking of their futures and wish to remain as idols would not hazard such a choice.
...Though I imagine Trickstar would jump straight into it without thinking.
But to our fortune, no one so brash has shown their faces in the Kansai region yet.
Arashi: They're hard to handle because logic doesn't work on them—or more like, they have their own logic.
Tsukasa: ...Perhaps it takes such extreme characters to conquer SS and stand at the top of the industry in the first place.
We are their nemeses at the opposite extreme. Let us claim victory in our own way, true to ourselves.
Ritsu: Yeah, it's not like our chances are zero. If we rent out the theater and choose our audience wisely, we could fill up the whole place with just our fans.
Even if some unit out there tries some reckless attack, we won't be losing in that environment.
Just like the DreamFes back in our Yumenosaki era, live battles are decided with votes.
Our fans will vote for us. This should be obvious to everyone, so other units won't come knocking at our door for a battle.
There are just too many risks involved—it's barely even a gamble, let alone a proper fight. Nobody would just come over to lose on a whim.
Arashi: I see... You've taken a lot into consideration. So, I guess this is what our clever Ritsu-chan and Tsukasa-chan have judged to be our only option.
Then I'm fine with it. I'll go along with what you think is right. Playing war is for boys, anyway; I'm not interested, nor do I want to think too deeply about it.
Tsukasa: Yes, you're just the right person in just the right place. Please, do what only you can do, Narukami-senpai.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again—we have a chance at winning! All we must do is keep performing without a moment's rest for just over a week, and the laurels of victory shall be ours!
Ritsu: Yaaaay, total hell for somebody who loves sleeping more than his three meals a day~♪
Arashi: No way my skin's gonna get out of this unscathed... Nobody would normally come up with a plan like this—I mean, it's crazy.
People at ES are so smart, so why do you all have to be such idiots sometimes?
Yeah, genius and stupidity and all that, but you all just love to get lost in your theories. Seriously, are we gonna be okay? Is this really the right choice?
