Izumi: Can’t you sense it? Our fans are livid after reading that magazine, you know…
Of course, I’m sure they acknowledge that Trickstar has done a ton of official apologies already.
But they’re the people who, thankfully, really love us.
No matter how much we show them that we know it’s not Trickstar’s fault, it’s not like they can fully emotionally accept it, right?
The people they love got hurt and disgraced – of course they’d lose their cool.
And then, after that magazine… they see us trying to be all friendly and buddy-buddy with the hateful bastards who denounced us.
“Why?” “Why aren’t they angry?” – Of course they’d start to think things like that, right?
There might even be people who gave up on us because they couldn’t understand why we’re not acting the way they expected us to.
And even if there aren’t, there’s still so much pent-up stress.
Knights were blatantly involved in some kind of scandal, but to the fans, it probably looked like we just swallowed it all up without a fight.
There might even be some more extreme fans who’re like, “It pisses me off! I’ll never forgive Trickstar!” and try to get revenge somehow, you know?
And those Trickstar guys probably don’t want to deal with any trouble before SS, right?
If our fans do something bad, then we’ll have to take responsibility for it. And then, no one will be happy…
I’d just be offended if our path was blocked by some stupid magazine.
So we need some sort of ritual to clear up the fans’ feelings and relieve their stress.
We need a battle with sparks flying everywhere, a festival for venting anger—
A refreshing show of entertainment where we Knights magnificently toss aside that annoying lot.
Arashi: Fufu. It’s a full-on war… Halloween Party’s a showdown between Knights and Trickstar.
Personally, I’d rather we all smile and celebrate together.
But not everyone would accept that… And we’re the ones who have to meet their expectations.
Well, why not? Both we and Trickstar tried hard to act smart and be the adults here, but…
That doesn’t suit us, not one bit.
Answering to our fans’ wishes, answering to their love… Tonight, we shall dance, elegantly and beautifully.
Tsukasa: Yes. I feel the same, my seniors.
Let us make a triumphant return, brandishing the heads of that hateful Trickstar! We Knights are the proudest, the strongest, the most beautiful!
Izumi: That’s the spirit, Kasa-kun. Good boy… But it’s not enough just to get fired up – let’s get working.
We Knights wouldn’t ever lose to some losers like Trickstar in a head-on fight, right?
Tsukasa: Right! Then let us first pour our efforts into making sweets!
Arashi: Fufu. No sneaking food, okay, Tsukasa-chan?♪
Tsukasa: I wouldn’t! How rude!
…But I must ask, why is there a need to make sweets in the first place?
I believe there was a competition recently… and Ritsu-senpai won first prize, so he’s officially in charge of the sweets we’ll be giving out in this event, right?
And those sweets have already been produced in large quantities, so we should be able to buy as many as we like if we send out a request.
Most units will be using those pre-made goods too… And since we have live performances to focus on as well, we don’t have very much time to be cooking.
Izumi: Tsk, tsk. How would you expect to make candy if you're such a sucker, Kasa-kun?
Tsukasa: Fufu. Nice Joke, Sena-senpai♪
Izumi: What? Are you sure you aren’t turning into an idiot just because we worked together with Trickstar for a bit?
Well, anyhow. Thanks to Kuma-kun putting so much useless effort into something that doesn’t matter…
It just so happened that the design for the Halloween Party sweets is credited to… us, Knights.
We’ve gained prestige. And so we, the designers, are now preparing special new sweets just for the people who are cheering us on.
And not only that, we’ve taken great care to make these by hand.
So what do you think? Wouldn’t you be happy to get something like that?
Tsukasa: Hmm. Well, it’s true that no one would feel bad being told they’re special. They may feel rewarded for supporting us so devotedly.
People who truly believe what that article said about us are probably few and far between, but I am sure there are many who still feel anxious.
They may wonder if they should continue supporting Knights like this.
But it is alright! They shall surely be rewarded! Let us tell them this with all our strength!
And then we will elegantly defeat Trickstar, who made a fool of us… or at least appeared to, and show that we Knights are superior!
Let us prove that reality is vastly different from whatever was written in that magazine!
Let us prove it in a way they can with their own eyes! Let us take a clear lead ahead of them, and win! That’s what our strategy - our secret sweets-making plan is all about, yes?!
Izumi: That’s right. You got it, Kasa-kun.
We’ll fight with our brand new sweets! After all, from what I could see while preparing together, Trickstar isn’t all that used to cooking.
In this respect, we’ll definitely rise above them! Of course we’ve prepared all sorts of other strategies too~ We won’t lose to the likes of Trickstar!
Luckily for us, the first half of Halloween Party focuses heavily on fanservice.
If it was only a live performance, we couldn’t afford to underestimate them. They probably didn’t win DDD just because of luck, after all.
But with fanservice, we have a slight advantage. That’s our forte, our trump card…
In the first half alone, let’s put so much distance between us that they’ll never be able to catch up!
Go wet your pillows with tears as you regret ever picking a fight with us, Trickstar! Yuu-kun…!
