[Hallway - Halloween Party]
Mao: Sorry! I ended up late to our meeting again! But see, I heard Ritsu just keeled over so I went to go see him…
Subaru: Wah? Heya, Sally! We were worried about you ‘cause you weren’t showing up!
Makoto: Ehehe. Trick or Treat, Isara-kun.♪
Hokuto: Come on, Yuuki, we decided to do our special “Trick or Star?” greeting, right?
We’ll do fanservice that only we can do, and that Knights can’t.
Makoto: Mmm~ It’s not a bad strategy, but don’t you think the visitors will be confused if we come out with this greeting they’ve never heard before?
Subaru: Then we should just try real hard to make it catch on, until people start to think “Trick or Treat?” is some lame old greeting!
And then we’ll be the ones leaving the biggest impression!
Hokuto: Mhmm. We’ll revolutionize the idea of Halloween, put on a whole new kind of Halloween show – that’s what best suits us, right?
Mao: …Ahaha.
Makoto: Fufu. One can only laugh, right, Isara-kun? I understand.
Even though there’s a lot at stake in our battle with Knights, we’re all only thinking about ourselves and how we can entertain the guests.
Mao: Well, actually, it’s kind of a relief. Yeah, we’ve finally started being ourselves again. I’m glad we’re getting back on track thanks to the idea you thought up, Makoto.
We were stuck for a little while, but it looks like I didn’t need to read into it too much… Ahaha, I guess I’ll have some fun, too♪
Subaru: Yeah! But first get in costume, Sally! The outfit Anzu made for you is in that empty classroom over there!
Hm hm hmmm~♪ Let’s have a fun, fun Hallo~ween~♪
Hokuto: You’re even more excited than usual, Akehoshi. Do you like Halloween?
Subaru: Yup! When I was little, my family was always moving, so I couldn’t get very close with the other kids around me…
But since we all wear costumes for Halloween, we don’t know who’s who, right?
So I could just enjoy myself without bothering anybody! I looove Halloween~☆
Hokuto: …I see. I’ve never really participated in festival-like events before, so this is my first time experiencing Halloween. I don’t know the proper way to celebrate, so please help me, everyone.
Makoto: Okay! Let’s enjoy it together, Hidaka-kun♪ That’s the most important thing in the end, after all!
Mao: Sorry for the wait~ I’ve changed into the outfit!♪
Hokuto: That was fast. Turn around, Isara. I’ll check if you’re wearing it correctly.
Mao: Yeah, that’d be a big help. Thanks, Hokuto. I can’t see my own back, so I have no way of checking it, anyway. By the way, this tail is supposed to be attached to the belt, right?
Makoto: Yep. But when I tested it, it came off too easily… Maybe it’d be better to have Anzu-chan sew them to our outfits directly?
Mao: Yeah, you’re right~ It’d be embarrassing if they just popped off in the middle of a performance, plus it’d be a real let-down for the crowd. Let’s show our guests a real illusion, and become monsters!
Subaru: And cats too! I have a dog so I don’t really know about cats~ Is this okay? Meow meow♪
Hokuto: Yes, that’s fine. It’s cute, Akehoshi.
Subaru: You’re a cat, too, Hokke~, but you’re more like a purebred. So blunt and unsociable…
Anyway, we’re good with going for “cute”, right? That’s why we’re all dressed up like cute monster cats, after all, yeah?
Makoto: Yup. We decided on that after talking with Anzu-chan. This time, our biggest focus is our fight with Knights.
They’ll definitely go for a “cool” or “beautiful” look—
So we’ll fight with “cute!” And, it’s also important to make ourselves seem friendly. After all, Knights seem kind of hard to approach at first, right?
They’ll probably show up in these luxurious outfits that are hard to move around in, so we’re focusing on mobility! We’re cats, after all – it’s natural that we’d be quick and agile~♪
Mao: Ahaha. We couldn’t really decide on our outfits until right before the event. It was like, what kind of monster is the most Trickstar-like?
If we went for the most orthodox choice, we could’ve done jack-o-lanterns or something.
Makoto: But we didn’t because no one could see our faces if we put pumpkins on our heads… It felt like a bit of a waste, since no one would be able to tell who we are.
We also could’ve adopted the idea of pumpkins into our design. But there are a lot of units doing that, so we wouldn’t have stood out.
Mao: And after all that thinking together, we ended up with monster cats. It’s pretty embarrassing to wear cat ears, but you guys seem fine with it…?
Makoto: Yup. I wouldn’t oppose to being in any outfit. I was dressed in outfits you wouldn’t even believe when I was a child model.
Hokuto: And I’m in the theater club. But weirdly enough, I’ve never really had a problem with any outfit, even as a kid.
Subaru: Ahaha, Hokke~’s Hokke~ no matter what he puts on.
I like this outfit – Anzu made it, after all!
And it’s got the same feel as those zombie bunny-something costumes that Ra*bits have, y’know? I took a selfie with Shinonon when we ran into each other earlier!
Look, look, isn’t it great? We look like similar creatures, right?♪
Makoto: Ohh, Nito-senpai and the others are zombie rabbits…? Cute and creepy at the same time, huh? They really thought about this, didn’t they?
Mao: Yep. I’ve been helping run the whole event with student council, and it seems like every unit out there is really putting their all into this.
We can’t fall behind here. Let’s do our very best♪
Subaru: Of course! We’ll take center stage in Halloween Party too…☆
Hokuto: That’s right. And it’s not just because the student council or something made it that way… We’ll prove with our own ability that we’re the protagonists.
