[Soundproof Practice Room]
Tsukasa: Excuse us! Trickstar, you…!
...You lot! My patience has truly been exhausted! Today is the day I will put up with this no longer!
Arashi: Wait, calm down a little, Tsukasa-chan… I understand how you feel, but getting so angry only knocks years off your life, you know?
Izumi: And it’s also just plain unsightly. …But well, just for today, I’m not gonna stop Kasa-kun, alright?
Ritsu: Okay, take it easy… You know you should stop him, Secchan. Something just doesn’t seem right to me about this, you know?
Right now, we may even be dancing in the palm of someone else’s hand. If that’s the case, we’re going to look pretty silly, you know?
Makoto: Wha? Huh, what? What’s going on?
Mao: Well, speak of the devil and all that, huh… Uh, Knights, what are all of you doing here?
As you can see, Trickstar’s still using the practice room, yeah?
Tsukasa: …It is not quite “all of us”. As usual, Leader has gone missing for some reason.
Subaru: Ahh, now that you mention it… And here I’ve been kinda curious about that Knights leader person, too~
Mao: Um, so, are you guys gonna use the practice room next? Just sit tight for about half an hour, because that’s around how much longer we’ve checked out this room for, okay?
Izumi: Is that any tone to take with us, you brats? Aren’t you our juniors? What have they been teaching you? Sooo~ annoying!
Ritsu: I’m sorry about my husband, Secchan.♪
Mao: Uh, I’m not your husband.
Ritsu: You said that with such a cold expression… I’m so hurt, boo hoo.
Arashi: Ah, Mao-chan, you made him cry! Apologize to him, boys~!
Hokuto: Anzu aside, everyone in this room is a boy. You don’t have to apologize, Isara, there’s no reason to.
In fact, I’d even say it’s fine to get mad that these guys just waltzed in here while we were using the room.
Subaru: I don’t really mind, though~ But it does make me a little annoyed that they’re picking a fight out of nowhere.
Izumi: Excuse me? We’re a hundred - no, a thousand times more annoyed than you, though? Kasa-kun, show these small-minded morons the article!
Tsukasa: You could just show them yourself… Well, no matter, the youngest should handle humble work like this, after all.
No, perhaps I should think of it as having been entrusted with the honorable role of throwing down the gauntlet?
Trickstar! Please take a very good look – after seeing this, can you still claim that we have no reason to blame you?!
Makoto: By “this” you mean… Ah, this is a pretty famous idol-centric magazine.
I think it’s been popular since it started publishing last year, and the new issues are always in stock at the student store… But this issue doesn’t seem to be out for sale yet. I’ve never seen that cover before.
Mmm, I should probably be reading up on printed magazines, too, and not just stick to the internet…
But to be honest, I still don’t feel up to facing magazines just yet, so I can’t really find the motivation to check them out.
Izumi: Hmph. Naru-kun and I did a gravure photoshoot for this issue, so they sent a complimentary copy to our modeling agency.
It’s not the release day yet, so it might not be in stock at the student store, though?
But that’s not the point right now… The problem here’s the content, see - the content. What the hell’s this supposed to be?
Makoto: Um…?
Hokuto: Hmm. I believe this is the issue that contains a special coverage of our nationwide campaign.
We were doing lots of these at once, so I’m not too clear on what they covered in here, though.
Makoto: Our schedule’s really been too packed lately, after all…
But this is kinda weird, don't you think? Why did they go ahead and send a copy to a modeling agency, even though we’ve asked them to let us check articles if they’re gonna cover us?
I don’t remember ever checking the one in this new issue. How weird, maybe I’m remembering it wrong… Maybe it was supposed to be in the next issue instead?
Tsukasa: Hm? W-What do you mean? Have you no business with this magazine article, Trickstar?
Could this be… a fabrication?
Izumi: Don’t fall for it, Kasa-kun. These guys are trying to completely play dumb. Think you can talk yourselves out of this, huh?
We can see right through your plot. This is basically slander, you know?!
Arashi: Fufu. If this goes to court, though, Izumi-chan’s little “mess” may become a point of contention despite all our efforts to settle it♪
Izumi: Shut it, Naru-kun, we’re not talking about that right now.
Arashi: Oh my, forgive me, did I hit a sore spot?
Izumi: I said shut up, and I’m not gonna say it again, alright?
These guys are the problem right now. They’re a bunch of morons, just some third-rate amateurs who got lucky enough to snatch the glory away, and yet…?
You’ve really got guts to make a fool of us, huh?
Hokuto: …Third-rate amateurs? Think first before you speak, Sena-senpai.
It’s true that we’ve lost more times than we’ve won against Knights, but the results for every DreamFes only ever differ by a tiny margin.
Both of our units have about the same level of ability. If you’re going to underestimate us, understand that you’re also putting yourselves down at the same time.
Ritsu: Wah, how bold. Ma~kun, I’m impressed you’re fine hanging out with this. I’ll help you let out all that pent-up resentment, Ma~kun - come over here♪
Mao: …Actually, I agree with Hokuto here. To be honest, that also kind of pissed me off. The reason we’re going to be in SS isn’t just because we “got lucky”.
Izumi: As I said, we’re the ones pissed off and annoyed most of all, okay?
Subaru: What’s going on? Hey, let’s stop and sort this out! I’m not getting this at all!
Makoto: Yeah, Akehoshi-kun’s right… don’t just start yelling at each other!
Why’re Knights so furious right now? What’s going on with that article?
