And yet, this article can be read to make it seem like we’re just the same as we were in that one, single moment in the past when we screwed up.
I don’t like it when the past starts getting dragged up again. It’s a real pain for us, you know?

But the three lines that Suou-kun pointed out were all from different parts of the interview!
First, we were asked how we managed to have such an equal fight with Adam in Autumn Live, and we brought up our diligence and coordination.
But for some reason, they left out the part about “coordination”.
Subaru: Yeah. Which kinda sucks, because we actually talked a lot more about that part in the interview.
We got through so many hardships because the five of us worked so hard together, after all.
Hokuto: That’s right. We shared a lot of stories about our friendship, but for some reason, they’ve all been cut out.
It’s a real shame. I remember some pretty interesting things came up that would’ve made our fans happy.
Makoto: That’s right. Ahh, I think I’m getting what the aim of this article is… It feels like they erased everything that would’ve been inconvenient for the writer’s purposes.
At any rate, look at the second line, the one about how there were lots of lazy, aimless students at Yumenosaki.
Yeah, it’s the truth, but chronologically speaking, we said this before the first line.
I think it came up when we were asked to explain what kind of unit Trickstar is.
We knew the article wasn’t going to be circulated only within Yumenosaki. It was for a national magazine, so we figured that most readers wouldn’t know that much about us—
We thought we should introduce ourselves first, so I think we talked about all sorts of things.
We said we as Trickstar originally formed our unit to bring revolution to the corrupted Yumenosaki Academy.
Subaru: Right, that’s how it was at the beginning. I’ve kinda forgotten about most of that already, though.
Hokuto: Don’t forget that. It’s important, right? We were a unit formed for the sake of revolution.
Subaru: That might’ve been the case for you, Hokke~. I warmed up to the cause a little later, but to be honest, I just wanted to have fun being idols together…
I just wanted to sparkle as much as I could, you know?
Hokuto: Hm. Well, I guess that sounds about right for you. I was initially the only one who pushed forward with revolution in mind, anyway.
Mao: Ahaha. Don’t sulk, Hokuto. It turned into a true revolution in the end, a result that no one ever dreamed would happen.
It’s okay to be proud of that, and I understand why you’d wanna emphasize that in an interview.

So it looks like we’re saying that even now, there’s nothing but lazy idols at Yumenosaki.

Hokuto: Yeah. I thought we could mention fine or Akatsuki, but surprisingly… we haven’t faced off one-on-one against them since spring.
When asked who our rival is, the first unit that comes to mind is Knights, since we’ve clashed with you so many times already.
Arashi: Ahah, we’re always going up against each other, aren’t we…♪ If we were asked the same question, we might’ve answered with “Trickstar”, too, maybe?
Subaru: Mm~ But y’know, I don’t think we intended to look down on you at all here.
You guys come out on top more often than not, after all… And DDD aside, Knights have always been a great opponent that we can really respect.
Hokuto: That’s right. You have our respect. We have around the same level of ability, we’ve fought against you many times, and we’ve both pushed each other to improve…

Trickstar may be representing Yumenosaki in SS, but it’s not like we’re miles ahead of the other units here.
There’ll always be someone out there who’s better than you. But that’s why we want to keep fighting on instead of giving up, so we can win someday – it’s an expression of our determination.
Makoto: But then, our words got twisted by some malicious editing, and now, to borrow Suou-kun’s words, it looks like we’re denouncing Knights.
We suddenly bring them up as if they’re an example of the lazy guys we were talking about.
Izumi: Exactly. And then it looks like you’re saying “we won’t lose to trash like that~” or something.
It’s like the information, or rather the impression it gives off is being manipulated, yeah?
And I mentioned it before, but Naru-kun and I did a gravure photoshoot for the front pages of this magazine.
For people who look at this article and think, who’re Knights? They can turn the page and go, oh, this is them… they’ll see and learn our faces.
You understand how much trouble that would cause us for our modeling work, right?
If this gives people the idea that we’re just some kind of lazy trash, that spells doom for our career, you know?
